Job Description

As an Audit Associate at AdrianYeo, you will assume a pivotal role in the execution of audit engagements, working closely with clients across various industries. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and delivering valuable insights to our clients.

Position & Salary shall depend on past experience and qualifications. We are currently looking to hire fresh graduates and experienced candidates.

Job Responsibilities

• Junior (graduate) to Senior level
• Lead and execute audit engagements in adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
• Compute detailed tax computation
• Prepare audited financial statements
• Self manage jobs assigned, ensure completion within time frame
• Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior audit staff, fostering their professional development and growth.
• Prepare comprehensive audit workpapers, findings, and reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with audit methodology

Job Requirements

• Good command of written and spoken English
• For experienced hire, we require relevant experience in the field of Audit
• For fresh graduates, or ACCA graduates, we require a good understanding in the role of an audit associate. Prior internship experience is a plus, but not compulsory.
• Good technical knowledge in ISA, MFRS and MPERS
• Understanding and knowledge of company tax
• Understanding and knowledge of Companies Act 2016, and other law and regulations governing business entities in Malaysia
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Finance or related field
• CA(M) / ACCA / CPA is a plus(but not required)
• Pleasant, presentable and have good communication skill
• Confident to deal with clients
